Visual Design.
The platform uses a deep green and mint palette to convey trust and calm, a counterweight to the stress of managing rental properties and Portuguese tax obligations. The interface is minimal and structured, with clear hierarchy and generous whitespace, so hosts can immediately see what matters: their revenue, their deadlines, and their next guest.

What I solved.
Portugal has over 120,000 registered short-term rental properties, mostly managed by individuals with one or two apartments. They face SIBA tax deadlines with real fines, guest reporting obligations, and no clear picture of whether their property is actually profitable. The existing tools are built for professional managers at €30-60/month. Verdio fills the gap: a simple dashboard for the solo host, starting at €9.99/month, focused on compliance, financial clarity, and day-to-day operations.

Outcome.
A functional frontend MVP built through vibe coding, using AI-assisted development tools (Lovable) to go from design to working product in weeks, not months. Currently in validation with real estate professionals and AL hosts. The product covers dashboard analytics, SIBA deadline alerts, booking calendars, check-in/out management, expense tracking, and cleaning coordination, with a freemium pricing model designed for the Portuguese market.
